BYC Café

I have SONS... and yet might be planning a wedding??
😯 When DS 1 was born, my sweet neighbor lady said, “Lucky you! All the mother of the groom has to do is shut up and wear beige!”

When I told that to DS 2’s bride to be, she said, “You don’t have to wear beige…” 🤣 (Really, she is a wonderful person and we get along great!)

and on top of that IT'S FRIDAY so enjoy because the weekend is here!!!!
All you need is right next to the coffee pot so brew a cup of the magic potion and enjoy the patio in the cool morning (56 right now) seeing how by the time this weekend is over and next week is beginning it's suppose to be back in the 90s with high humidity. All I know is I'm looking forward to the cooler days when I can open windows/ doors and turn the AC off.

Good morning Cafe. Fresh pot of coffee is ready!

I hitched the trailer last night at 8 to head to Lowe's for supplies. One of the lights on my trailer is out. It stuck out like a sore thumb. I started down the road then decided it wasn't worth the risk so turned right around and came back.
That light out was a beacon to cops to pull me over and ask for the the trailer registration.
Which I don't have.
Because I never registered it.
In the 3 years I've been towing with it.

I know you don't want to go up there but you might want some styrofoam channel up against the roof sheathing to keep the insulation out of the soffits.

They can plan the wedding...it's their wedding.
DD1 planned and executed her wedding in VA. We gave her money .... and pressured her to spend some of it on a wedding planner to run the show. No way she would have enjoyed her day if she had to oversee everything.

It's already in. I have it in nearly every bay. I have the formed black plastic in most of the bays and pink styrofoam in others. That's why you see light coming in where you do.

I'm also planning my wedding and enjoying doing it but we can't afford to do a wedding planner but we are going to get a friend to be the announcer and keep the rhythm going. My parents have passed on and so has FH parents.

I did that to mine before adding more insulation when I first bought this house 23 years ago. It was a grueling job.

Usually the channel comes up well above the insulation.

I blew the insulation right up to the edge of the channels. I know there is no insulation in the soffits because I had to pull most of them down when I redid the facia after finishing the roof over the future screened in room last year.
