BYC Café

Been trying to get my wife to try to make a marbled pound cake using so cook and serve chocolate pudding.... She can be stubborn but she will give in when I get the mixer out and a few other things. She do it to keep me from making her kitchen a hazardous waste site.

How long did you forget them? They're supposed to be good for 12-18 months, I've read.
18 months. They seemed OK, but I just couldn’t convince myself to eat them. Then I think one cracked when I moved them because the water got really cloudy and smelled bad.

I gathered just about 10 dozen eggs today. That's for yesterday and today. It was so cool yesterday and last night and today I waited until this afternoon. Don't think that will happen again if I can avoid it. That was a heavy basket to walk back in with. About 12-13 lbs when there are lots of ex large and a few jumbo eggs in the mix.

We haven't had a proper freeze yet, but the tomatoes in the downhill garden are dead, so we've had frost. I just got the filter material in the mail yesterday. I haven't covered the openings in the coop yet, nor have I put up the wind blocks on the run. I'll do it in the very near future.
