Good morning, all a cool 39 this morning a little frustrated these days with my neighbor and our chickens. He promised he would have our chickens already, I understand he's getting them from another person. There's where the problem is, now he can't till next week
We have a friend who has a bird rescue, they have plenty of chickens, and asked if we wanted baby chicks. Hind sight that's the way we should have went.

If you haven't paid him, get the chicks from the rescue. And come get Digit while you're at it!

Good morning Cafe and thanks for the coffee.

Very frosty morning here. And two nasty puddles of dog diarrhea courtesy of Brodhi. I have him until Monday.

His former owners told M&S that he was allergic to chicken and he would start really scratching himself. They gave him a small piece of chicken a few days after they got him and he seemed fine. No scratching. The original scratching, they discovered, was because he was infested with fleas! Once he was rid of them, the scratching stopped.
M wanted to get him some chicken feet for snacks. She bought a 2# package and gave him one. After putting away the rest of the groceries, she turned around to see Brodhi on the floor with the package of chicken feet and only about 1/4 of it left! This was Monday night. He never pooped yesterday morning. This could the reason for the intestinal upset. He seems fine otherwise.

Oops. It's not Brodhi. It's Bells. I friggin fed her this morning.
She needs to be fasted. Again. I have no idea what crap she gets into or where. Probably the same place Piper found the half eaten ear of corn she came home with one day. I'm going to have to go out and monitor them every single time I put them out to potty.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee! I am running a friend to the doctor today....sigh, I was hoping to really get more wood split before the flurries/breezes start tomorrow. I bet I could still get an hour or so in.

I've got to finish my cup an brave the rain and cold to feed the kids. They should still have feed but I have to make sure and also make sure they have clean water. l will make the 10 mile round trip into town for a couple of essentials and spend most of the remaining day resting and healing. Be safe everyonel

I should go to town, pick up meds and get goat feed. Don't wanna. Am going to Danville tomorrow, so I might wait.

I need to pick up meds in town too but don't need them yet so I'll get them tomorrow. Never do today what can be done with something else tomorrow and save on the gas.
