Why did that happen?
Are these something that may be present in commercial feeds?
It's just her. She has low intrinsic factor. She doesn't produce enough of the protein that allows the small intestine to absorb B12. She has started on the therapy recommended by Texas A&M.

She has only had one bout of bloody diarrhea since being on raw for a year. She had 5 episodes on commercial feed (for just under 3 years), one of which was that nearly pure bloody mess that landed her in Cornell 2 years ago. I still think the rotted squirrel she sampled triggered that one being so bad.

I understand her B12 problem. I have to take Sublingual B12 for the same reason. I didn't know I had a dog's disorder.

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee! We did not lose power and I am fine with that. We did get snow but who knows how much with the wind. I had to laugh...
Good morning Cafe'. I'm slowly working on a cup this morning. Need to see what the guessers are saying about the weather. Even with coffee in me I just want to lay back down and drift off to la la land.
cause here is a quote from our weather guessers.
"Patchy blowing snow before 8am, then patchy blowing snow after 9am. "
Downright geniuses I say.
DL, I am glad that you have something figured out with Bella. I hope it makes her feel better!
Have a good one!

I am surprised, here, they operate on 85 year old patients, I’m quite sure they take more than BP medication 🤔 they don’t do full anesthesia in problematic cases, but do spinal anesthesia instead, most of my fellow patients were 77 and 78 😮 and faster on their feet than me 😳😳

They do the surgeries in the U. S. as well on patients with blood pressure problems.

If I were in your position I'd find a group of specialists and talk with them.

My hubby and I see an orthopedic specialist that is one of the physicians for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

My hubby had his knee replaced and he is a complicated medical disaster and he did fine.

I'm going to talk to my orthopedic doc again and see just what I have to do to get the hips soon. If he says absolutely no then I'm going some where else. My old ortho doc move from where I was in TN to Memphis. The one here in AL is good but lacks the bedside manner of the one we both loved in TN. He put the 3rd new knee in for my wife.
