Just one eye? Here, they only operate one eye, in case something goes wrong , after 2 months or so, they do the other eye, my father-in-law had it done years ago and said it gave him a new quality of life ! I should get it done too, but they would also exchange my lense, and then both eyes have to be done, I’ve still got 20/20 with glasses in my left eye, if something goes wrong, I could lose that, so not doing it. I am also having problems with my retina, one of the risks of the operation is the retina coming down, since mine are already dinky, won’t risk it! I hope your operation goes well and you will be awaking to a brighter clearer world

I found a grief share group meeting series that is held at a church less than 2 miles from my house. I talked to my manager about shifting my schedule until April to accommodate it and he was more than supportive and agreed. I go to the first one today, 2:30-4:30.

Well, we did get stormed upon last night, for about 3 hours there was copious thunder, lightning, and rain...even a possible tornado warning.
I thought for sure the garage would be flooded, but it must not have rained as hard as it sounded like. Now it's snowing to beat the band.

This must be a fast moving system because that is basically the prediction for us.
It must have rained quite a bit last night because my yard is flooded. It's still raining and we have a high wind warning starting this afternoon. Then the temp is supposed to plummet over night and stay cold all day tomorrow. I think we'll avoid the snow part of your weather though.

We had and have some of our standard breezes and with it being 12F, single digits overnight, It Is Cold Out There! I have to take my friend to her dietician appt today and I hope the driveway is passable. I guess I should go check more sooner than later, ...

45 degrees colder now than yesterday afternoon. Thunder and lightning at 11:30 last night, pouring rain an hour later, and lots of wind.

Yesterday, I filled up the gas can... just in case the power went out. And it's still on, so that bit of reverse Murphy-ism worked.

They have winter advisories here but we are to low in elevation.
Fun to see the snow and know we don't even have to drive on it.
