Got hot today, low 80's, yuk.
Bugs are bugging, got a mouthful or two of gnats or something while taking the herby curby out for pick up tomorrow morning.

Been a rough week of physical and emotional pain,
better today and meatloaf, baked potato, and sweet corn for dinner should speed the improvements.

Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.
Need to take some extra time this morning to stretch my leg. We went to three different beaches and nature preserves yesterday and probably hiked for about a total of 3 hours. I'm feeling it. I did wear my back brace the entire time though.

My hands and knees are feeling the work I did yesterday. I'm thinking I'll get a load of laundry going and go back to bed for a nap.

Rainy here today, just drizzling and dripping.

Found an oddity in the coop this morning. On the poop board was an empty egg shell, broken open only at the small end, nickel sized hole...no real sign of the contents/remains neither on the board or in the nests. <shrugs>

Now have 2 broodies crated, 1 will get a release this afternoon after a second 4 days confinement. I sure hope she's done.

Another oddity from this morning.
Mouse in trap on kitchen counter.....in two traps!
Front leg in 1 trap, neck broken in second trap 2' away from where first trap was set. Dayum!
