Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.

One of Savannah's kids was on the coop roof at lock up. That was real fun getting her down in the dark.
And Savannah didn't kick them yet. The night they were all on the floor and she was roosted, they just hadn't figured out that she wanted them to come up there with her. The last two nights they've roosted with her with the exception of the little one on the roof.

RIP @aart. I am among many who will miss you. I learned a lot from you and feel you still had more to teach me.

There's no way that's not her. I suspected she had died but hoped I was wrong. This is very sad news
I've now hit 3 deaths of friends in the last week.
A friend I've known for over 2 decades killed himself last Thursday and I just learned today that my former neighbor passed away. Her funeral was today.

A hug for you.

I too have been having a week of loss. I had to choose between two services last Saturday and now reading this.
I remember my mother - maybe at roughly my current age - going through a period of depression because everyone she was close to was dying.
I begin to understand how she felt.
