Likely the same population! In some parts of the oceans, cetacean distribution can shift a lot over time as these populations follow the best food sources. For example, Southern California use to have a local population of pilot whales, but they disappeared after a strong El Niño and market squid collapse in the 1980s. Now they’re quite rare visitors.

Yup. Every time they say we're going to have upper 80s/near 90 temps, hubby says, "No thank you, take it back."

It's easy to hate the heat when it makes you feel sicker than hell....
....and especially when you have no air conditioning.
I dread it.


Made bread today, been a long time but I remembered how and it turned out nice.

Hubby is making bread right now. Ever since we got the KitchenAid mixer, he's been making his bread. I think I'll give the bread machine I used to make his bread to Goodwill. I'll keep the one I used to make GF bread... just in case.

Had an appointment today for a MRI, drove two hours to find out it had been cancelled.

Temperature is in the 70s with rain coming.
