Aren't you supposed to be at the hospital being prepped for surgery?
Yes. They didn't get to me soon enough so I left. I was 15 minutes early to the hospital.

I've left C and my niece instructions on what to do with the chicks. I think Jody will eventually do what her adoptive mother did and leave the eggs in favor of the chicks.

I'm waiting for my IV. Because I haven't been able to be my normal active self, my veins have shrunk. I'm also dehydrated from not being able to drink anything. They have to use hot packs and a tourniquet and slap the veins to get them to the surface to get the needle in. That's what was done for the blood draw.

No go. We're waiting for anesthesia to get it in.

DL, I hope all goes well and you have a speedy recovery!
I have been depressed , trying to deal with all my various illnesses, injuries, medications, and hubby has been on vacation more than a week now so I get to do all of his chores as well as mine.
I have gotten rid of most of the chickens except 8 that have various issues. Still, I have too much to deal with. So, it is down to letting my goats go. The buck is making me crazy, he keeps getting out. I do not want the girls bred after they kid. 2 have kidded, and he likely rebred them both. They need a rest. I don't like looking at skinny goats. I need to get them bulky, and sell them. Sad. The kids are a joy though.
