Good morning. Today really is the funeral for a former coworker of hubby, so we are going.

Sadly, the wife of another former coworker passed away, and we have a second funeral to go to this week, on Friday.

I hope I never have two funerals to go to in the same week again.

Was going to put off the 'big city' run until tomorrow,
but didn't and am glad it's off the plate.

It's been nice and cool and drier the last few days.
Another heat wave starts Sunday with 3 near 90 days.
At least those day will be 'shorter' and the nights cool.

The funeral service was very nice. We sat with and visited with three people we used to work with.

I'm going to have a hard time at Beth's funeral on Friday, I fear.

Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.

Couldn't get the old battery out because the POS terminal bolt is so corroded.C and I managed to make a gap between the nut and terminal but that's it.
HTG is coming over this morning to see if he can back it off. If not, I'll hand him the hacksaw to cut the bolt. Either was, I'm going to need a new bolt and nut. So I'm off to Lowe's.
