the odor of the local pot harvesting(almost smells like skunk)

That's what that smell is! There's a house on our road a bit over 1/4 mile away, and sometimes I smell a faint skunkiness as we walk by. I know they grow pot there.

The house that sold last summer was owned by a retired couple in their 70s. He grew pot, actually asked us one time if we wanted any. Uh, nope. Anyway, I asked the new people, "Hey, did John leave you his pot plants when he moved?"

That made them laugh. No, he didn't, and they thought it funny that he had some.

There are a few large commercial grow places around me.
Supposedly it did great things for the tax base.
When I first smelled it a few years ago I thought it was a skunk, then someone clued me in when the whole town reeked one day. I think it's only that strong of an odor when they are harvesting.
I don't remember my plants smelling like that, but I was stoned most the time back then.

Some trees are changing color here, a few stressed ones, and the parasitic vines growing on some other trees.....can really see how prolific that is this time of year.

But I'm not going to lie. For the past several weeks, I've felt like a racehorse with a jockey on my back, standing in the stirrups and ranking back on the reins. I bucked him off 2 days ago. What would you do!?

They are temporary. I'm making slow, steady progress and feel better daily.
