Good morning Cafe! Coffee is ready.

I had another great night of sleep. I only woke about 4 times and went right back to sleep.

I got up just over an hour ago, fed the dogs, stored the batch of dehydrated eggs I made and started the next batch, did the chickens and fed the fish. Now it's time to relax and let the pain meds do their thing while I sip my hot coffee and fart around on the net.

Out of the four cockerels I have I'm most partial to the dark one. He has a great crow for his age and is really getting pretty. He is the most dominant one though. I hear him crowing with Fabio in the morning. They are all good boys so far. I complimented Savannah this morning on a job well done with them.

Morning. I didn't wake up during the night, but did wake up about 15 min. before my alarm.

I'm amazed at how fast my quail chicks are growing. Yesterday we had bad thunderstorms while I was away and I was scared about losing power at home. We didn't.

I need to unbury our UPS system and see if it still works and plug the heat plate into it. Yesterday I also ordered a 360 camera to keep an eye on the brooder through my phone.

I did have trouble drifting off after staying up late and woke more than usual during the night....not quite shot in the arse as too much cayenne in the meat sauce.

No accumulation, just some slush on the car and deck, but it is very nice to have the moisture.

We did get snow and rain and a frost last night.
No accumulation, just some slush on the car and deck, but it is very nice to have the moisture.

They are button quail. I’m going to breed them to sell as pets.
