Morning Cafe, it is almost 10 here second cup beside me.
DH is letting banty coop out so I just do the big birds.
I let dogs out as I go to that.

The humid, hot and sticky weather we are having now in addition to my chickens screaming and fighting over 1 nest box..they just don't use the rest of the other nest boxes. I need to run away from home to have a quiet cup of coffee to recharge again.

I am in Australia and we are at the last month of spring here. Spring season for us mean lots of rain, storm, thunder, lightning & humidity. Heavy rain/storm after a sticky, humid & hot days.
I can complaint about the weather the whole season.

Stormy sat on my lap for awhile today. She hasn't done that in a loooooong time. After she hopped down, Sunny camp up for a preening session.

Well, I must have 2 laying again.
Got 2 eggs yesterday, gonna get more today if the caterwauling I hear out there is any indication.

Only one of my hens is laying right now. But some of their combs and faces look like they're getting redder...? I think the worst of the molt is over, except for Button, who is the one still laying and needs to stop so she can get her molt over and done before the really cold weather comes.
