Slush, ice, snow has all melted.
The ice on the run roof caused some pretty decent sagging.
I'm still a bit shaken thinking about last years 16" and zero temps last year that crushed part of the auxiliary run and seriously sagged part of the main run. That 16" fell over a few days but it was too damn cold to clear the run mesh. Thinking about adding a couple props this year to help keep that from happening again now the wire is a bit compromised. Closing up the lower coop windows on schedule for tomorrow, required 6' step ladder hauling and climbing and not looking forward to it.
3 days of 1.5-2" snow forecast for next weekend, at least it's gonna get cold enough to maybe prevent heavy wet snow.

Good Morning. It is blue sky and sunshine over here, it feels like life just enter my system again. We will be having a few sunny day until mid next week when the rain will start all over again.
I am having my first cup of morning coffee and it feels like I am in a real coffee shop having coffee with everyone here. So nice.
Working out is a must now what to do with the muddy chicken runs as we will be having more of those muddy weather for the next 3 - 4 months. I think paving the run is the best option. Too much thinking on Sunday.

Good afternoon / evening all. Had WAAYYYY too much coffee at the bon fire this morning. We are still working on eliminating the storm debris from the hurricanes but we made good progress today. It was a beautiful 38 degrees this morning with no wind and a bright prussian blue sky. Cool fresh air all day and I'm ready for a nap now. Switching to tea. Enjoy the rest of your day everyone.
