Where can I get one??!!
I dunno<shrugs> google it? Can probably have it delivered tho :D

Because I want to enjoy the color pattern too, I plan to run a dominant white male and an ermine male over a mixture of ermine females and black females.
Does this mean you will get rid of all your other males, and the ones that will hatch? Breeding means a lot of culling. Will you also buy an incubator?

After a half inch of rain overnight the air has been filled with snow flakes much of the day, nothing sticking until now that the temps are dropping below freezing once again.

The only male I have here is Fabio and he is on watch. He is getting weaker. The last 2 days I saw most of his girls outside and he wasn't with them. That is very abnormal. He did not roost tonight but did perch on the edge of the poop board. He is not going to make it much longer.
Breeding means a lot of culling.
Only if I hatch and want to sell chicks. Which I don't. I only plan to sell hatching eggs.
I will hatch a dozen random hatch quality eggs from the flock I want to establish and see what I get for offspring quality. I will sell off the culls.
That is a good thing about using Ameraucanas. They are in high demand around here and people are willing to pay even for a cockerel so they can make EEs. Most places have a long wait list for hatching eggs.
Will you also buy an incubator?
I don't need to. They hatch out here from time to time for free...

When I put Fabio on the ground this morning he was wobbly so I decided to put him in the ward.

When I went out later to clean the coop, I noticed that one of the Wyandottes had gotten after Remi again as she had more feathers missing on her back and a bloody spot. The Wyandottes leave tomorrow morning and will NOT be missed.

So to prevent anymore bullying to Remi for the rest of the day, I put her in with Fabio. They started talking to each other soon after I put her in there and when I went to go shopping about 2 hours ago, I heard him crow. I don't know how long he has left but I'll make those days as good for him as I can.
