Good morning Café!
Freshly brewed coffee is on the counter, have at it!
After some days of beautiful sunshine we now are back to frosty temperatures with strong winds, even the chickens are not amused.
But we made good use of the nicer weather and got a lot accomplished, trees are cut, hedges trimmed, yard and garden beds cleaned and loads of horse manure spread, all the coops thoroughly spring cleaned and three broodies clinging tightly to their respective eggs. Both dogs neatly finger plucked and trimmed - the birds love to use their fur as bedding for their nests.
As much as I love Airedale Terriers, the cumbersome grooming/maintenance of their coats is really something I and my poor fingers could do without!

Hopefully, @aart will soon be back to tell us about her wonky internet connection.

Severe thunderstorms came through yesterday. They were saying 70-80 mph winds (and higher) were recorded in the general area.

Thankfully, NOTHING happened here! A few gusts, a heavy downpour, and the lights flickered. That was it.

Good morning Cafe. A fresh pot of coffee is ready.

A bullfrog drove off the Northern green frogs last night. The lillies are all pushed out some leaves but they are still curled and not reaching for the surface yet. They all need to be divided as do several marginals.

Just noticed lots of magpies in the treetops and on our lawn this year. Very beautiful birds to watch but this calls for more protective netting once the chicks hatch and go outside with their mommas.

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee! It was 24F this am with a dusting of snow. Today is a MORF day and then I think not much else for the week. Of course, that always changes!
