BYC Café

Neither of you will be flipping the bird with that finger for a while. :p
Or we'll both get the crap kicked out of us for driving around with our middle fingers up because it hurts to bend them!
Fabio still doing well?
He's very slowly getting better. He is nowhere near as pale as he was and he did quite a bit of crowing this morning.

Savannah's kids are hatching. A day early. I lifted her for one last break before their due date and a little damp black chick dropped out. I can hear more than one talking back to her while she clucks to them. The dinkus tried to feed them one of her raisins.

She's had about enough of me looking for babies...

Good Morning Everyone,

Coffee is being made, and I am waiting 😄

So good to hear Fabio is getting better, crowing..he must be feeling up to it, so hard working Fabio.

I really miss having a rooster in my flock. Rooster has a distinctive characteristic and personality compare to hen.

When my flock number is down, I will let my broody hen hatch some eggs and I hope a Pekin bantam rooster comes out of it. I can secretly have a tiny rooster. My area does not allow rooster...that is my thought now.......

Have a lovely day all.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

10 fluffy babies under mom. Savannah won't get off the wet nest just yet so I left a small bowl of fermented feed with her and she is contentedly tidbiting her kids to come eat.

Yesterday, HTG and I got the side rails on one bed just to come up with how we were going to do it. I had spent 2 hours moving the poultry netting, cutting the grass on the entire property then replacing the netting. Good thing. We had thunder storms roll through last night and after today, we have 4 straight days of rain.
