Less than a day old and she's got them outside.

I am having my coffee now, I was having some frozen croissants in the oven and they are now burned. ....the temperature is too high.

The sun is out now, and it reported that it will rain today or tomorrow. I hope it is wrong reporting.

I will be on the road mostly today so I will have to eat a hearty breakfast to send me on my way.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Good morning Café!

Just back from the hospitaI after a nasty allergic reaction to a colon cleaning agent I was prescribed to take for my scheduled colonoscopy. What a nasty surprise. :sick
Now I have to reschedule, but first recover properly from this unexpected incident.

I brought a fresh pot to share with you all.
:caf

Congratulations on your chicks and the recovery of Fabio @DobieLover !

My third broody has taken her 7 fluffballs outside as well

Good morning Cafe and thanks for the coffee.

What a nasty surprise. :sick
A double whammy. Like the prep itself is a picnic. What did they give you?
recovery of Fabio @DobieLover !
I just delayed the inevitable and made him more comfortable. His liquid diarrhea is back. I'm going to see if my vet will do a float on it. I don't have a clue what to do for him now. He's still crowing though and his color is much better.

He was better after the soft deworming, maybe he needs a proper one now to really get rid of worms?

You could also try adding medical charcoal to his hardboiled egg mash for several days.

Have you tried the Moro carrot soup? It helps to restore a healthy gut, but just use half the amount of salt, which will be only 1.5 g instead of the mentioned 3g.

Thanks for the suggestions.

He was much better during the amox treatment before I did the soft deworming. I was thinking about giving him a hard deworming too. I'll start him tonight. Giving him charcoal with the dewormer would likely be counter productive so I could try charcoal capsules when the deworming course is complete.

I would have to isolate him to get him to eat charcoal spiked eggs. I am really trying to minimize handling him as it stresses him terribly. I'm walking a fine line with him.

What did they give you?
Some macrogol stuff which I did not tolerate at all.
DH had to call an ambulance as my usually very low blood pressure started to climb rapidly to over 212 and still rising and my vision getting blurred my head seemed to explode while sweating and vomiting and spaghetti legs no longer able to hold my dizzy self up.

But in hindsight I am glad this happened with just the one dose as the doc had prescribed to take 5 doses the day prior and another five the early morning of the same day the coloscopy was to be performed. Just imagine how my blood pressure would have rocketed me right off to delirium! 🪦
