Coffee is done and dusted, now tea

Thank you @LaFleche , I am feeling a bit more confident about my bantams in cold weather now.

Today get new battery for my mobile phone, if the weather is decent, I will be spending much time in the garden.

My mom's bathroom issued were fixed quite simply and quickly so we are avoided of having that not so nice conversation with the tradie about replacement.

This renovation is so that mom can access her bathroom safely and live in her house for as long as she can, and with hope that she does not have to end up in the nursing home. The bathroom process of getting quote was since August 2024....... and the bathroom just finished mid May 2025, it took around 6 weeks.

I roasted some purple sweet potatoes yesterday, oh my goodness it tastes so very good, so sweet and the colour is just to enticing. I grew some potatoes and the rats/mice dug them out and ate them all. I read somewhere that gardening is sharing with nature, I don't know if nature know how to share..eating all my potatoes, that hardly consider as sharing.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

I caved and started a fire. We had a frost warning last night. It didn't materialize but it's still chilly in the house.
I think I'm finally over the hump with my cold but I'm not going in today. I'll log on from home for a 1/2 day. I'm still exhausted.

Yesterday I rolled my ankle. It hurt for a moment, then was fine. Until I sat down to dinner. Oh, man, it started to HURT! I took 2 ibuprofen. Didn't touch it. I remembered what someone here had said that 1 ibuprofen and 1 tylenol together worked better than either by itself.

One of each, and I was feeling a LOT better! Thank you!

I'm going to need to do that again to get through the day.

That was me. The one with the past horrible sciatic pain. It also works when you have full body aches because you are sick with an upper respiratory/sinus infection.

Good Morning Everyone,
It is 6am Wednesday over here and it is still dark outside. I am all wrap up because it is so very cold. I go through more ache and pain in the cold weather.

Drinking big cup of tea to keep warm from the inside.

@DobieLover a day at home will give your body time to rest. Your post reminded me to book in for my winter flu vaccination.

I went to the shops yesterday and I was constantly hearing people sneezing and coughing, the flu season is already here.

The heater is on. The cold weather give me joins pain.

Well, thank you! It sure worked last night, and again this morning.

I taped up the ankle with an ace bandage too. I'm being careful with it; I'm not sure if it's getting better, or if I'm just not feeling any pain because of the meds.

Lack of pain is a good thing!
