I've been less than 1/2 mile from this location when Dave and I used to go down there for his MRI scans for the clinical trials he was in.

I need to call my brother and see how this week went for him. The fitting of a prosthetic can now start on his L. leg.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee. @DobieLover I 80 has been having sinkhole problems for several months, and in this last heat spell I 287 developed sinkholes and buckling. Where's that infrastructure bill?

I didn't know that!

I was shocked after watching the video that the Mack truck behind the sinkhole didn't go in nor the SUV in front of it. The owners were lucky!

On I 80 it's in the far Eastern section. Apparently the highway was constructed over old mines in that area. On I 287 it's the more Northern section approaching NY state.

It isn’t the first issue on I-80 because of those old mines.
This is the first I have heard issues on I-287.
Think I will just stay home with my chickens!

Good Morning
Having my first cup of morning coffee now.
Sink holes! There are so many of that everywhere.
What is the cause?

Over here, due to the excessive and prolong rain we have many pot holes everywhere on the road, and as soon as the rain eased, the transport department filled it up, but there are too many of them.

My house has shifted so I think because we had drought for many years, then we have excessive rain for a few years of late. My house is brick, but I can see the pavements crack here and there.

Great news you got some rain over there! We have a bit of sunshine so that is a relief.
