Our "new to us" car is a 2018 Ford Focus. 49, 865 miles on it. It is so weird to see an odometer with JUST FIVE!! digits! Color is grey.

So far, the only difference I've noticed between it and our 2016 is the color! All the switches and knobs and doohickeys are in the same place. And, for now at least, it's a lot cleaner! That won't last. 3.5 miles of dirt road before you get to pavement out here.

There is no annoying squeak in the door panel like the old car. It sounded like styrofoam rubbing, so maybe it was. It seems to have a bit more power. The old car had some slippage in the transmission...? Not sure that's what it was, but there was definitely a slight pause between the time you stepped on the gas and when it decided to go.

Anyway, I hope it lasts a good long time. I will spray it with deer repellent regularly.

I just found out that Sourland's birthday on the other thread. I have not seen Sourland's post these last few days, must be on vaccation for his birthday.

He's on Chincoteague Island.

Sorry, I don't know why I typed "Jumble" instead of Jumbo, my brain does what it does. It is Jumbo as Pertnear09 says.

My typing speed is faster than my brain processing.

For a period of my younger life, I went freelance contract work, it required typing speed of 90 words per minute. I was doing accounting work and for the life of me I can not understand why they need that sort of speed, but I did spend time practiced to increasing my typing speed to 90.

Now that I old, the speed still there, but my brain is doing something else....I don't know if this is a sign of my brain is aging/slowing down or nothing at all.

Good Morning All,

It is Thursday 7:50am over here, a week almost finished, time has gone so fast.

I am having a standard cup of coffee this morning - not Jumble, correctly Jumbo it has been raining little since last night and so the weather is warmer and a bit humid.

In some coffee shops over here, coffee's size large is not the ultimate, the ultimate is tall jumbo. I would not recommend it as the caffeine crash is very unpleasant for the individual and everyone around.

I had a manager that do tall jumbo twice a day. The time between the first and the second she slammed stuff on her desk and quite aggressive. The gossip in the office was that her husband took out a restraining order on her for being abusive and aggressive. I don't know if this gossip was true or not, but she was scary at work.

My broody hen off broody for a week now, but yet return egg laying. Might be too cold or she just can not be bothered. 13 hens and only 2 eggs a day.

It is a perfect time holiday in Chincoteague Island. It looks beautiful and lots of wild horses.

A work friend of mine is going to help me evacuate my line set, charge it with nitrogen to dry it out then do another evacuation before we charge it with the coolant from the compressor. It literally shouldn't take more than 20 minutes tomorrow morning to do that. Now I just need to get a hold of a small cylinder of nitrogen!
