Coffee is ready.

Thank you for the butterfly lesson DL, we have lots of butterfly in spring and summer over here, now I know how to identify them. I love it when my chickens chase them around the garden.

We still have rain on/off, but just a few drops, enough to be forced to stay inside the house.

Last night I watched an hour of an old classic movie Gone With The Wind. I just don't know what Scarlett sees in Ashley Wilkes at all.... What is it about Ashley Wilkes that I failed to see? I did read the whole big book in my last life and I love the movie. I love the way they dressed in those days, just look stunning. I just like old classic period movies.

Scifi movies that about the future are always portray the future as destructive, ruin, and life is not worth living.

I want a AI to do all the house cleaning for me, that is all I wanted. I will continue with the cooking, tending to my- family human, dogs, and chickens.

...what else is there? Handsome...but he does have a good sense of judging people, he knows she is not the one for him and he was so right on that.

I can't resist this.

A man comes home from work to find his wife busy in the kitchen. "What are you doing?" he asks.
"It's the annual banquet at the club. I signed up to do one of the main courses, so I'm going to bake a ham."
"Oh, no, you're not going to donate a ham!" he exclaims.
"Then what can I take? The banquet is in two hours!"
The man opens the refrigerator and looks through the contents. He hands his wife the two packages of hotdogs they were going to take to a family cookout.
"Franks, my dear. I won't give a ham."

Good morning and I am brewing the coffee!
We had to put the blade on the weedhacker in order to get the tumbleweeds out of the driveway.
In 100 degree heat, the tumbles are free to blow away and there is a path cut to the tack room and the shop.
And then we came back up into the cool and had electrolytes to celebrate success.
Today, I am taking DAF to a doc appt for her shoulder, back. She didn't sound amused yesterday evening with her one word brief texting. I am sure that I will hear the story of buying her son a car... scary to have him driving again!

Hot tea is ready....It is now almost 6am and I can hear from the distant egg songs, it is still dark outside,what chicken that lay egg so early?

I will watch some more of Gone With The Wind movie today..

Another great classic movie is The Thorn Bird. She was so determined to have him, and he was so determined to be with God.
So much endurance and pain, it is like a great & well simmered casserole/stew dish.

I think a human life is short, one can not experience it all and these movies take us to these experience of other people in a short space of time.
