When is he going to your mother's house? I'm glad he seems to have made a full recovery.

If he does not relapse like he did in his first treatment, he will return to mom on Monday. He finished his medication last Wednesday and I am keeping him to make sure he is all good. So far so good.

Mom loves him, she talks to him a lot and he talks back. He makes a lot of different sounds, more sound than my previous 2 roosters. He very responsive and interactive to human.

I am wondering do different breed chicken speaks different chicken's language...this is from the fact that my 4 bantams hens often go looking for him when he crows where as my standard hens do not bother at all.

This likely has more to do with the size match than anything. He can get the deed done with the little girls and they know that. The big girls no he can't so why bother answering his calls?

The semi-promised rain went elsewhere. Another chance tomorrow. I think we could have gone on our rock hunting trip to Lake Michigan yesterday. It was postponed because of the threat of severe weather.
