Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee! I brought some warm coffee cake to share, no nuts, just raisins, cat approved. For whatever reason, the cat insisted on having a bite handed down to him and it is gone, crumbs and all. Weirdo...

Good Morning,

Coffee is done and now tea...the sun is actually out now. Yesterday weather was wrong, but it might be right today...sunny, warm and light wind??? The weather is getting warmer.

I feel gentle joy and love this morning serving my chickens... I took many chicken photos for the BYC Calendar here, so far non of those photos are calendar worthy, back at it again...got to have that X factor, fluffy butt is not enough

$300 for the battery for the Falcon plow. That's only part of the problem. The rest of the problem... fuse? connection somewhere? It's not like we can drive it to a repair shop. It's not street legal.

Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.

And we are shifting into having to do chores in the dark. I had to turn on the run light this morning. The Fab 4 were out first looking a bit bedazzled by the odd dawn. They were soon joined by several of Savannah's boys.

Put Piper out when I finished with the birds. She is always willing to be distracted by just about anything, down to a blade of grass, other than go potty. As soon as she saw the lights in the run she stood there staring at it and growling. Oh goody. GO POTTY!!!!

Freya is fascinated by the spots where she pottied before. You can just about hear what she's thinking as she sniffs:
"WOW!!! Does this dog get good food and treats!"

Yeah, she does, baby. That's you!

Rain with peekaboo sunshine again.
I think that I get to hang out at home today. I am not sure what to do first!
Probably unload our tailgater smoker from the car so the bear doesn't decide to dig in. We were tired late last night so we left it in there. We all chipped in and bought DS@ a bigger smoker that really surprised him. I laughed and said that they had the party house now, so get this bad boy ready to go!
He is psyched! He takes great pride in his cooking skills.
