Coffee is ready.

Bella is 10th! That is a good age for a dog and even better for a chicken. Is Bella a chicken? Does Bella get a birthday party? Happy birthday Bella.

I woke up this morning with a headache, hopefully a cup of coffee will fix it. Today is a passive day for me, my knees ache both from the front and the back. I will rest and chickens will be by themselves mostly today.

I can see my tv from my computer and it is playing a period movie from a non English speaking country so has subtitle on it. The husband sitting writing at his desk, the wife came over asked him..."What Make You Happy?", without taking a break from his writing, he replied "I Don't Know", she looked at him gently..and said..."Soup, might be?" ,,,this remind me of a thread on BYC "What Make You Happy Today" and also the old saying...."the way to a man heart his through is stomach"

Apparently. I adopted her almost 6 years ago.

My old Ked's have dried from the hose I used on Mocha.
Time to make my breakfast it is 1 here but late start at 9.
about 2 extra hours.
Guess I needed it so all is well.

I have a bit of sunburn on my left foot from yesterday's outing to and in Lake Michigan. My right foot was in shadow.

I think this is the only sunburn I've gotten all summer.

Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.

I was not able to finish the mini split installation yesterday. I couldn't get the line set to vacuum down. I found a ridiculously loose fitting on the 1/2" line coming off the air handler. I had to make those connections from an extension ladder that was pretty far from the wall and supported by boards on one foot to keep it level.

Still wouldn't hold pressure after tightening.
Found the 1/4" line connection at the compressor loose. Gently tightened it and it held better but still bubbled. Gave it another gentle turn and it leaked much worse. Ugh!
I opened it up and found the flare all wonky.

That bit of rolled copper on the bottom will prevent it from seating.

I don't have a flaring tool so my friend that helped do the vacuum down on my unit is coming out this morning to help with my sister's.

My B-I-L was getting a bit green around the gills during the trouble shooting as my buddy kept saying "there has to be a catastrophic leak somewhere". Yes, due to me trying to tighten hard to tighten fittings up on a ladder and one buggered up flare fitting. When I found the bad flare he calmed down. He thought he bought a $3,000 piece of defective equipment.
