BYC Café

I had to have my ACL replaced years ago.
At the time I was in my 40's.
Doctor said I was a athlete and he could use part of my own hamstring. Other Dr's said no way laughing at him.
He did it a week after he did it I handed him my big brace.
Never a problem but of arthritis.
They do not laugh now it is still intact at 65.

Good Morning,

Coffee is in the making...I woke up this morning the sun is shine and bright and the almighty wind blasting away. It must had been raining last night as the air is fresh, no dust in the wind and yes my garden is wet, but the pavement is dried.

I did my chicken task and even broke up a fight of 2 gaining up on 1. Chicken drama!!! Gee, I am never short of supply on chicken drama. I did some weeding, there are varieties of weeds in my garden. When I walked back into the house, I am surprise that it is almost 7am!

I love the longer day, so much get done.

Have a lovely day all.

Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.

We've recently hired 3 new engineers. Just fell off the campus. I've been asked to work with 2 of them to help get them going.

It's a double edged sword. We desperately need the help but I have a ton of work that needs to be done that requires a lot of focus and these guys are constantly interrupting to ask for help.

I ALWAYS help them because I remember when I just fell off the campus and started as an engineer and got no training at all. I just kept smashing into walls until I figured things out.

I have always preferred a standard shift in anything I had.
Me too. Just can't find cars with a clutch anymore.

Thank you! I've had very helpful coworkers who were like you, and those who would rather watch newbies smash into walls.
