BYC Café

Good Morning,

Kettle is boiling....I love the sound of kettle boiling in the cold morning..it gives out the impression of warmness. ...all in the perception.

This morning as I entered my garden, I instantly acquired a headache, the chill got into my bones and nerves. I took my grandfeather hen out of the dog box and she made a small chesty rattling sound, my heart just dropped to the ground....my heart, not the chicken dropped to the ground.😄

So I am self inflicted, the cause...bring sick rooster from poultry market home...the effect....finally arrived.:he

I was warned, but my head was in my chicken's vent so....

I will write down a plan of action while kicking myself if I can practically kick myself.

Have a great day

We sat in the outdoor room for almost 8 hours taking and planning. I'm exhausted!

But we have an itinerary with places to stay picked out at each stop. I need to reprint my passport application with projected travel dates for early December to speed up it's processing as I need my passport to book the flights.
We'll fly out of Dulles to Bangkok and stay in Bangkok for 3 days. Then fly to Chiang Rai in northern Thailand and stay 3 days.
Then fly to Luang Prabang, Laos and stay for 3 days.
Then take the high speed train to Vang Vieng, Laos for 3 days.
Then take the train back to Luang Prabang and fly to Da Nang and get a taxi to Hoi An, 3 days.
Fly back to Bangkok, stay another night and fly home the next day.
The entire trip with travel, lodging, excursions, food and entertainment will be about $2,400-$2,500.
Exciting traveling/holiday is coming very soon.:wee
Very competitive price!

A lot of moving in a short space of time. Are you doing a guided tour? I heard guided tour rush like crazy, no time to rest.

I google the map of Asia, you are traveling from Thailand and moving up north to Laos, then back to south into Viet Nam.

15 years ago, we went to Viet Nam Saigon and Hoi An in December, the local was wearing jacket as it is the cold season over there, but we were feeling very warm. We did google search on the destinations, and printed out maps and read reviews from other travelers on various things like taxi, food, etc... the usual stuff

We visited our doctor and took various vaccinations before travel.
In Saigon, the taxi and motorbike were following us for service, but we walked everywhere, at home we walk 45 minutes each day for excerise. Viet Nam's distance between 1 area to the next is small compare Australia. From the begining of my street to the end of it is 45 minutes walk. We had a great trip.

Just make sure you bring with you a good walking shoes as you are travelling a lots.
