So sorry. Just as a bit of encouragement, my Maggie had two bouts of lash eggs about a year apart and lived about another two years. She went back to laying normally after each bout.
I think salpingitis it is often fatal but not always.

From memory I gave her (antibiotic) Baytril after each episode. She never acted unwell.

Thanks. She is on Amoxicilline since yesterday so I hope she is like your hen there get better.

Morning I had help at 7:30 loaded huge rounds into a truck bed.
Don a friend from up the road took it to his house.
Splitting it for me so I can burn it here these round weigh as much as I do.

Thank you Sally. I read your thread and gave her a calcium tablet. She did poop lash eggs throughout yesterday.

I will look into lotus leaf.

Amelia passed a lash egg when she was 2. She's almost 7.5 years old now. Still lays but has stopped for the year as her molt has started.

The kids and I had a nice time yesterday. The Blue Angels were practicing for an air show in Loveland this weekend and so the GS got to see and hear some really cool jet moves.
I have firewood to deliver this morning so I guess coffee time is about up.
