BYC Café

Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.

A had a very satisfyingly productive day yesterday and so far this morning is looking great too. I've got the car loaded up with everything except for the boys and I'm cooking a nice hearty steel cut oat breakfast to bring with me. There was only one minor little panic attack this morning... I couldn't find my coffee mug! It is now in hand so I am back to smooth sailing.
Good morning! Thanks for the coffee! 🙂

Good luck, have fun!
Thanks for the coffee!
Low of 37 F last night and there is a pic of a snowflake in my forecast for tonight. No accumulation, just flaking they say.
I wound up just helping load stuff/ hay for the competition as they decided not to take psycho-mare. Worked for me because I helped a neighbor fix a woodstove, made fudge, and went to book group.
Enjoy the day, Cafe!

Good Morning,

Giant cup of tea and it is only 4:09am over here and being this Monday, public holiday for the King's birthday!

Yesterday found my skinny 7 days egg layer hen with scaly mite on her feet, treated. They all have poops stuck around their vents, hot weather, drinking too much water. So much vents inspection and cleaning.

Last week I went down to my local shop twice to get almond croissants and they all gone, I still have almond croissant stuck in my brain...must get that almond croissant! I hate it when it gets stuck like that.

Have a lovely day all. 🌻

Well done, Tonya.
I was so thrilled, I packed up all the flowers and took off after giving a bunch to a little boy who took one of the boys and told him to give them to his mother. He said "she's not here". I said "give them to her when you get home so she's happier about you coming home with a rooster!"

Then I stopped at Thrifty Shopper on the way home and found 2 nice pairs of pants and 3 sweaters. Stopped at TSC for PDZ and some more fence posts for the poultry netting and gave 2 more bouquets away to a pair of elderly ladies parked in their car next to me. Big smiles from both! :)

I left a bouquet in the widow's water feature in her front yard because she wasn't home when I went over there so I texted her that they were waiting. I kept the last one for myself.

All in all, a great start to my day.

Someone is coming this afternoon to buy the large faux olive tree I bought for my sunroom that is way to big for the spot.
