BYC Café

DL, I printed out your advice and put it in a baggie by the well pump outlet and switch for safe keeping. Thanks!
The temp is dropping and it looks like it wants to flake out later. We moved rocks and loaded wet rounds with the tractor, gave some firewood to family that came up, now dishes and then nice hot cider to get the chill off.

I dug up and gave away four large clumps of daisies. I had to slice each clump in half so that I could lift/move them. Then haul them in the cart about 3/16 of a mile to the neighbor who wanted them. Two trips, and I'm feeling it in the back of my thighs. I think I'll be feeling it even more tomorrow.

Today is prune the pond and bog pump out day.
It's done. My feet are still cold and I had a heck of a time getting out of my chest waders even after running my hands under warm water for 5 minutes.

Good Morning...late morning,almost noon now.

Coffee is done and so is tea, might be another tea.

We got less than 5 minutes of hailstorm late afternoon yesterday. Many of my pot plants tip over and broken. 1 chicken coop's roof just flew off in the air, it is heavy, but it was hail storm.

The netting for the chicken runs broken due to the large quantity of large ice blocks fallen into it. My garden look tattered, but minimal damage. My tiny rooster was soak in rain water, all the hens are dried, he was too small to jump on that to join them. He dried and blow dried him before bed time.

The giant Chinese Elm tree next door swing over many of its tiny fruits and I hate it if my chickens eat it and get sick. They eat snow peas so they most likely eat these because they are the same size and colour as snow pea, God help us all!!!!

Many areas are without electricity, and streets are very busy as fallen trees are being remove and ...etc.. the whole work. Spring is storm season for my State only, not the whole country. We checked our solar panels and they seem to be fine.

Now the wind is terrible and burning sun, very windy.

Have a lovely day☀️
