BYC Café

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee! 18F with a high of 35F today.
Brrrr! Winter is peeking around the corner.
Now my fridge is acting up.
Not real sure about a simple switch on this one. Parts may be an issue...:hmm
DH and I went and retrieved 2 of my friend's 100 gal stock water tanks (Rubbermaid) and he will attempt to fix them. There is a heater melt hole and a crack. She also had a flat tire on her truck so we helped with that as well.
Timing!
Sky, I hope that you can get your Mom's care people to cooperate.
Well, time to clean out the fridge and see what is going on. Sigh
Enjoy the day, Cafe!

Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.

I finally sold my extra dumbbell rack yesterday. Very nice people. They were positively terrified of Bella. I know her so well that always cracks me up! She'd much rather slurp someone to death or perhaps squish them to death by trying to climb in their laps vs tear anyone's throat out!

Good morning, Cafe', and thanks for the coffee. Sometimes the fear factor of a large dog is a good thing. Back at the beginning we had a German Shepherd dog, Rhon. He never bit anyone but scared the heck out of many. I have absolutely no doubt that had it become necessary he would have protected. We have had many dogs - he and Miss Maggie Mae are the two that owned me.

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee!
Nope, fridge (1990) is toast. New one being delivered tomorrow. At least we had 20 degree temps the last 2 nights to keep things cool and the chest freezer had room.
All is well.
Enjoy the day, Cafe!
Stay cool or warm or dry, LOL.

Good Morning,

Tea is here and has cooled down. We had sunshine yesterday and I think mostly sunshine today. The soil is drying up a bit, and my brown patches in the garden are growing green after a few days of rain. But the weather report is saying more rain this week or might be storm..whatever!😎

It turned out the new fee and charges are not all scary, but some are scary - like Lawn mowing will be charged $120 PER HOUR from their own provider. New fee and charges revised just this week again.

If mom gets her own people, she pays first and get reimburse, a 10% fee is charged by her home care provider for processing the reimbursement for her.

The person that mow the lawn for mom does not charge hourly rate, but per job charge.
Mowing the lawn and trimming edges $75
Mowing lawn, trimming edges, plus trimming over grown branches $100. Mom is better off keeping this person and just pay extra 10% admin fee to the care provider.

I must always have chickens!! it is an absolute necessity for my well being. No, I am not putting eggs under my broody hens, not now anyway :lau

I promise to just write 1 sentence next time.❤️

Have a great day all ☀️
