BYC Café

When hubby would let Raven go with him when he went skiing, she would race along side and bite at the tip of his skis. He finally had to leave her home when he went.
But at least he didn't get face planted. Multiple times. Dylan thought that was the absolute best kind of fun.
He looks like a little angel here.

I've been lucky enough to have known two like that in addition to a bunch of really good/nice dogs.

It's almost like skating but on skis. You can go down little hills too.

Do not permit a playful Doberman to accompany you though. They like to bounce on the back of your skis and bite them. This will immediately and suddenly stop forward momentum on said ski/leg causing the owner of the leg to face plant.
In the snow.
Which is then interpreted by the playful Doberman as "OOOO!! You want to play with me?!" Now you are trapped and fully at their mercy as you flail around in the snow like the kid in the red winter coat in A Christmas Story.
Thank you ❤️ I am learned what cross country skii mean and also not to have adorable playful Doberman while cross country skii, only if one wants to face plant😄

Cross country skii looks fun and a good fun workout in cold weather. I definitely do that every day if I my city have snow like that. EVERY DAY I would go cross country skii.⛷️⛷️⛷️⛷️⛷️❄️

Good Evening,

No more coffee at this hour for me, it is 9pm Friday over here. I have a sick hen Mint. She had lash egg, got implant late this September, had 2 lots of antibiotic separately and now is back pooped a big lash egg early this week. She has stopped eating, drink a bit and is pooping just liquid. Her tummy is small, but solid like a rock, I can feel lumps in there.

Just now I forced feed her 3 big cooked beans, and a table spoon of banana and 1ml of meloxicam. Just to ease her pain and I can not think of anything else I can do for her. The implant should stopped the egg production, the antibiotic was to fix the infection..she was better, but back to it again. She had some egg york earlier this evening.

I got CBD oil for animals, that will make her comfortable to her last day. She is not there and I hope she recovers, but not sure how as I don't know what else to treat her...She is the very first egg hatched in my home with mother hen, granddaughter she is.....she is only just a bit over 2 years old. It is hard when it gets here..

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

I decided to go to work today. And will work one extra day each week for the rest of the year. Officially being at full time. I'm doing it for comp time for next year and because I am slumping again and doing absolutely nothing useful on my weekends. So why not go to work and be productive and get some comp time?

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee!
Hugs, Sky... :hugs
It has finally quit blowing and is back down to a subtle breeze.
We have a week of decent weather to repair damage and cut up the tree that came down. The chicken sunroom needs to be redone; what worked last year will not work for this kind of winder. 3 days of solid 60 to 90mph winds is whacked!
I am off to take DAF to a rehab appt and then do some shopping. MORF doesn't need anything from town, he is holed-up on the ranch.

The power is back on and the day is starting, so enjoy it! I know I will!

Good Morning,

1st coffee just made, no milk! We got lot of rain last night and now the garden is mushy. I thought I was going to burn midnight oil searching BYC and the internet for what to treat my lash egg hen, I was so sleepy that I ended up shut eyes much earlier than anticipated.

She is alive this morning, refuses to eat breakfast, poop some solid. I need to have a plan what to do for her as she deteriorates.

I am now free range to treat her with whatever so long not causing her discomfort and pain. Will give her vitamin drink this morning, beans and honey throughout the day. Let her hang out in the garden when the sun fully out.

When she was spot on 5 weeks old, mother hen kicked her out, she moved inside the house lived with us. She was like a little kid, often sat on my laps, head under my arm. So letting her go is not on the agenda, her eyes are bright. I turned the mobile phone off, no interruption from the world, my feather grand kid needs me.

Lots of prayers 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Have a wonderful day☀️
