Good morning sour!Good morning, Cafe', and thanks for the coffee.

He sure is a handsome boy!I have never had a cockerel like Rocky before.
He is super friendly after having spent his first few months being overly cautious of me like the rest of his hatch. He is extremely gentle and curious and is constantly getting into mischief with his partner in crime, Sarah.
I've never seen him just try to jump any girl. He tries to ask first. He's finally tidbitting but still can't resist but to eat the treats if the girls don't show up fast enough.
He's currently got a healthy respect for Doc and the 2 get on just fine. I've seen no chasing or attempting to stop one another from mating. They do have crow offs. Rocky gets a little desperate at the end of his trying to get a longer one out and ends up sounding squeaky.
When I pick him up now, he doesn't panic. He acts more like, "what are you doing?" instead of "OMG!! She's going to KILL me!!!"
He's got fine confirmation and no leakage in his iridescent green, black feathers.

I love him to bits and can't bring myself to let him go in the spring as I'd originally planned. So instead, I'm going to put my 2 dominant whites together, hatch a dozen eggs from them, keep the females and sell all the males.
He is beautiful! I have one one that sleeps in my climbing rose I want to keep him other is a barred mix.I have never had a cockerel like Rocky before.

I haven not make kombucha before, the one I got is from the shop. Might be the "trace" of alcohol that got me, it has lot of bubbles for sure.@SkyAJK, I make my own kombucha tea; have been for a long time. It's about as alcoholic as an overripe banana. (Yes, overripe bananas can have trace amounts of alcohol in them. The key word is trace.)
He is a handsome rooster indeed.I have never had a cockerel like Rocky before.

My kombucha makes its own carbonation. After I bottle it, it sits for 5 days before I put it in the fridge. That's when the bubbles form.I haven not make kombucha before, the one I got is from the shop. Might be the "trace" of alcohol that got me, it has lot of bubbles for sure.
I had in the past read online how to make kombucha and ...it seems complicate for me....I was at the time learning to home make apple cider vinegar so I made apple cider vinegar first as it seems easier. My kombucha makes its own carbonation. I used to sell some to friends/coworkers. One woman at work forgot to take hers home. I saw it sitting on the shelf near her work station. The plastic top was bulging. I recommended that she open it over the sink...
