I have had two -- count 'em! -- TWO!! eggs so far this year, and nothing since January 4th. Molting is done. Please get with it, ladies! I feel like an imposter when I buy eggs at the store.

"I thought you had a bunch of chickens! Why are you buying eggs?"

"I gave them the month off and they all flew to Aruba."

I have 3 dozen packed up to sell. I can't keep up. And most of the hens haven't resumed yet.

Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.

It's 2F now. I stuffed the heated nest boxes with old biddies last night. I hope they stayed in them.

I went driving around in a much more rural area away from the light pollution looking for Aurora. No luck. Other people saw it. I don't get that. How different can the sky be 15 miles away? Maybe my phone camera is just really bad.

Good Morning,
It is 1:45am Thursday over here, coffee is too early and I am sleepy, but the body refuses to sleep, I just took a magnesium tablet and now waiting for it to set in. This might help with sleep.

The world's first 3D-printed hip implant was implanted in a human patient at the Anna Hospital in Geldrop on Friday. The technology is expected to replace major surgeries in patients with hip dysplasia in the future.

That is great news indeed about the 3D printed hip implant! Technology actually help human to have a better life.

I live about 1 hour walk from my mom's place, that is about 10minute by car, this is shorter or longer depending on the traffic of the day, one would think we share the same sky, but not really. Mom's place was raining when I left her house, half way driving to my house the sky was clear, no rain at all....it baffle me sometimes.

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee! DH is all better, thanks for the well wishes.
I think we will brave the cold and go watch DS$ wrestle this wkend. We were going to go last wkend as well but high winds and dust storms shut the highways down.
I wish my chickens would start laying soon. They are all older now so they need a longer hall pass!
