Yesterday, as always, was a working, but fun day. I woke up at 4:30 a.m. (as always
), milked the goats and came in for Cycling. On the ride, with My father, and Symphony
, we were going on a 34.5 mile ride, and on the way out, we were cruising around 20 mph. However, on the way back we the winds picked up, and we were in a nasty head wind. I started leading at 17-19 mph, and my father was griting his teeth, and Symph was fine. (after all she wasn't pulling) Anyway, I tried to keep the pace high so we could get home and watch the last 20km's of a TDF stage. The pace was so hard for my father, that he lost contact from my wheel. So I slowed down. We eventually came home in time, not for the last 20km, but the last 25km's of the stage.
As always on saturdays, I made ice cream for sunday.
