yea and I like the fact that you could freeze it! I would freeze half and then add water and the girls could have cold water all day in this heat

I agree. And if you left the cap on the jug to seal it, you could also use this as a waterer.

But you would have to silicone-glue it to the bottom dish.

Here's our waterer I built with a plastic laundry soap bucket, PVC pipe, and water nipples from FarmTek.com. Clean water all the time!
