How come everyone brings food to those sort of things? When my stepdad passed, not a single one of us felt like eating. And everyone and thier dog brought food. When I was first married and we couldn't afford the ceremony, let alone food, noone brought anything, yet they wanted to know why we didn't have a better nut/mint assortment, or even more cake? Jeezum, we had two, and didn't even get to taste the groom's cake.

I am going to be happy to see Friday! It's the only day this week (including the weekend) that I don't have to do anything/go anywhere except sell eggs. Hopefully I will sell all my eggs.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes for my finger. It's still being weird, like the dentist missed my mouth with the novacaine and hit my finger instead.

but I think I am going to try and convince it to get a hook to work. Now if I could just find a laundry fairy. Skand, do you have any of those?

The colors I used, Claret, Dark Teal and Gemstone. Going to use Wild Orchid on the edges to help blend/tie it all in.

Very yummy colors. Looks like you might have a bit of trouble getting it away from Caydence. I know Hannah would snatch it up and use it for a blanket in a second!

Hi all!

I finally got around to checking out the Crochet swap thread! Looks like there's a great group here!! I'm not a crochet-er, but I have other craftiness in me...

I'm looking forward to participating in the Secret Santa. SE has me signed up, I believe!

A little bit about me.... I live in the burbs of CA (SF Bay Area), and I am married to a wonderfully patient guy, Wes. We have 3 kiddos. Macey (9), Sydney (6) and Cole (3). A few furry pets, but only 3 chickies. I wish for more, but the suburbs won't allow.

Sorry SK I don't have the kitchen fairy, wish I did, my kitchen was a wreck when I left home this morning. Just too worn out from doing all the morn chores before running to the office. DH is a bit better but told him to stay in today so no set backs. We have too much to get done in the next couple weeks for him to be down for too long.. Big Dumbie needs to take vitamins and supplements like me. Can't hardly get him to take a pain reliever when he is sick. geez Men or babies is what they are..
