I have to wait untill Alyssa is home from school, otherwise I will never hear the end of her gripin that she never gets to help with stuff.

Brrr the cold's finally arrived. Dunno if I'll take the girls to the city's tree lighting tonite if it stays this cold.
Think I'm gonna take the girls to eat breakfast with santa this saturday. It's one of the holiday food drives our town has each year. 2 cans of food per person, eat pancakes at a table with 12 million other people... yayyy! my idea of fun! Then after that, is lunch with santa, a different food drive. lol keep this up and I wont have to feed my kids a week! It'll just cost me more then it would to buy the groceries!

Karan...please just coordinate this effort and any future pregger hooker square gatherings we might have....pick a color, a size, a yarn if you want, a number of squares and a date and let whoever wants send them to you and you and LC work out joining them and getting them to Okie and whoever else has babies n the way. You can count on me for squares but I would rather you organize the effort if you don't mind. I think you could fit this in from now till the time people get serious about the spring swap and folks have no trouble getting them done..plus baby squares are only like 4" aren't they? Never made any baby squares myself!! Shouldn't take much time though, but would maybe make a nicer afghan if the same yarn and color were used...my last bossy input on the idea...sorry, couldn't help myself!!! All yours Karan ... I will get whatever yarn you choose and make whatever square you decide on..just let everyone know your requirements...celebrate ..Baby hooker squares...we have come a long way as a group here,

I would be honored to do so.... Give me a couple of days to pull things together and maybe with some encouragement from the super coordinators and their guidance I can pull it off.

HUBBY IS HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they did all they could for him in the hospital now hes on antibiotics and has to go to out paient wound care today so they can show me how to care for his wounds... dont know how long he will be out of work...they said he will always be contagious and they gave us a list of meds hes on.
also things that we have to do differently/or start to do at the house.
its gonna be rough for a long while...but we'll make it. gonaa go see about disabilty today and i filled out the papers at the hospital for a helpi9ng hand at paying the bill as we have no ins.

Scoot! That is such good news! You had me on the edge of my seat there for a minute...whew....It will be so much better at home. You can sit back and read all the piles of advice we gave you when you get a chance.

Purr - Thank goodness your grandson is getting better. He's still in our prayers. No babies (or anyone) should have pneumonia.

I don't feel like I have time to get sick, but I think I will be joining Maw on that couch again with blankets. I wish she would stop giving me her colds.

Karan, there's always enough coffee for you. I just hope you don't mind me sharing in the bling. And you will have to bonk me on the head so I don't forget SK's

birthday party. (I was trying to figure out what party you were talking about for awhile. I got it now... me slow? naaahh...)

Scoot, we are so happy for your family to be back in the house together! Everything's easier to deal with when you can be at home instead of at the hospital!
Ris, hope you get over your cold soon! It's the wrong time of the year to be sick. Lots of vitamin C along with the decongestant & whatnot.
Sk, looks like we have more in common than we thought. I've been called a dips*** more than a few times!

Realized I forgot a few reports. SE, I am still getting eggs. Though the hens are considering a strike now that it is below 20 degrees.

My inside fuzzy butts are doing very well. Quite honestly I wish I never had to put them outside and DH said that we could expand the brooder to a three room one if we needed to. heh. I know they grow up, but even then I don't think I want to put them outside. hahaha...but no, no chicken diapers for me.

I am now going out to appease my spoiled hens outside and then drag laptop, vitamin c, and coffee to bed with me....oh, that's after I go to the store for milk and bread and the basics. *sigh*

Great news Scoot!!

Rocket: I think I may be getting something too.

I ate at McDonalds yesterday and I got an Iced Coffee. I think it made me sick. All that coffee bling just about made me

again.

I just can't drink the stuff anymore. I would drink a pot a day before my son was born.

It is really cold here but I need to go water the chickens. They are showing signs of sickness too. I've never had sick ones. Just wheezing no discharge or anything. I posted a tread for advice but no one answered.

I guess don't treat them and see if they kick it on their own.
