Wow! So glad yall didn't wait until the 5th for my b-day present! 11 lbs!!! Gooodness... ! Congrats on the grandbaby, sorry you haven't gotten a chance to welcome him into grammy's arms. We all know grammy's arms are the best healers of all. Hope your daughter is doing good, admist all the stress of her not being able to help heal him also. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Amy..heard from your SS and they are trying very hard to make the mail out deadline by the 15th but have had some hard luck life circumstances right now that have detained them a bit so your gift has not been mailed yet...I'll let you know if there will be a hold up after the 15th.

is so very right go check into those items she meantioned and check with DH's employer on temp disability with Ins if it's there use it... Rocket is right too talk with the hospitals accounting dept they can help, go to Family Services they can help you find other services out there there are many places to go when things get tough. Just ask some of these suggested places and they can help... Don't be like some of us have been (myself) and be too proud to ask.... As they said been there and have done it. And MRSA can be handled so just over see that the medical staff is on top of it, they may have to use a combination of meds to kick it. Just make sure you wash really well your self too. And take a couple of minutes for yourself as you are needed too.

As Newchick said you have your Hooker Sisters all around this country for ya.

Purr same goes for you we are all here for ya and will keep your baby grandson and DD in our prayers.

Been really busy at work today, I think this time of the year brings out the crazies. And 40 or 50 either called or came in our office today.

LC I meant to tell ya thanks for offering to put the baby afghan squares together. So when things get a bit closer we can get some more worked out.

Well I still have to get back to my SS I didn't get to work on it the last couple of the days so I really got to get it finished by Friday. So I hope to get in mail by Monday... I dont want to get any hints either ...... Please I like to keep secrets... It's so much more fun that way...

LOL!!! You all are free to open your Secret Santa presents the moment they arrive at your house...or wait till Christmas..entirely up to you!!! I put a note in mine, and of course return address on the box....so Skand already knows that she was my partner...if you didn't put a note, then you can tell your partner when they announce that they have received their present. I am particularly worried about the present sent to Maw....very delicate and fragile and I am certain, gorgeous beyond words....need to know Jess if it arrived????????????????? Your partner is waiting on pins and needles to make sure it got there and isn't broken....please post!!

Karan...please just coordinate this effort and any future pregger hooker square gatherings we might have....pick a color, a size, a yarn if you want, a number of squares and a date and let whoever wants send them to you and you and LC work out joining them and getting them to Okie and whoever else has babies n the way. You can count on me for squares but I would rather you organize the effort if you don't mind. I think you could fit this in from now till the time people get serious about the spring swap and folks have no trouble getting them done..plus baby squares are only like 4" aren't they? Never made any baby squares myself!! Shouldn't take much time though, but would maybe make a nicer afghan if the same yarn and color were used...my last bossy input on the idea...sorry, couldn't help myself!!! All yours Karan ... I will get whatever yarn you choose and make whatever square you decide on..just let everyone know your requirements...

New hookers lost in the shuffle...just post like crazy for a few days and then you will feel right at home and know everyone pretty well!! We have several chirpy hookers that are chatty...pretty much the welcome wagon for this group and an easy bunch to make friends with..so chat away new folks!!!

Can't wait to get my squares!!!! What is everyone making with them???? Saving them till spring? I probably will save mine and make a "friendship" afghan as Bonnie said (I think it was Bonnie!). Hi,
DD just called , and it turns out Garrett went by ambulance last night not med flight which is good and they took him off the oxygen so he is breathing better. they are going to have him on an antibiotic for 48 hrs. just to be sure that it wasn't pneumonia.
So thank you all for all the prayers and good wishes and faith cause I know it helped.
This is such a wonderful community and all of you are such good friends.
Maw hope you feel better soon
