lol Amy, now you are sounding like me. Man, I must be a stomach flu, just keep spreading and spreading.

Well, Jim got the coyote!!!!! Alyssa is mad at us, cause daddy shot it. Oh well, it had a rooster in its mouth at 430 this morning. Dang thing, wouldnt just go away, wouldnt just die, OH NO! Of course not, why would anything die quietly at 430 in the morning, esp outside the girl's window. Needless to say, we were all up at 5 am. Yayy,, poor Alyssa will be falling asleep at school. That will look real good for me , explaining the sleeping kid. At least they know about the coyote eating her fave rooster, so they might just let it slide this one time. hehehe

Hope all are feelin better

Purr, those kinds of days never seem to end, but when they do, you miss them more then you ever would realize.
I used to babysit my nephew from the day he came home from the hosp till he was 6 months old, daily. And when he was around 2, I wished that he would just hurry up and grow, now at 13, he's not my Kurty-bird anymore. Makes me love those days he would tug on my shirt asking for a piece of chocolate for breakfast, now, he just looks at me like I've ruined it for him. Breakfast being hashbrowns, eggs, and toast?! WHAT!! Where's the kit-kats? lol

Mornin' all!!! It's a foggy, gray and chilly day here in CA! Got the girls off to school and just wanted to check in to say "hi" before I head off to work for the day. So,

, glad to hear Jim got the coyote! Dang critter! That'll teach him for stealing chickens and roosters!

I sent off a PM to AmyQuilt this morning looking for advice on hatching birds for the fair. Anyone else have any input on that? This will be our first foray showing anything at the fair! I'm a little nervous about the whole thing! No one in our 4-H group has ever shown birds at the fair, so we are all new at this!

Anyway, I hope you all have a great day! I'm still soooo excited about the Secret Santa! My person should have her box by Wednesday at the latest. Can't wait to get mine!

Morning all, I awoke this morning feeling like a 4-wheeler ran me over, Well actually it sort of did, gd and I thought we would ride over a dirt pile and the 4-wheeler didn't agree
idunno.gif
anywho I was thrown off and somehow had my right foot up under the back fender and managed to hold it off my gd (2) while I pulled her out from under it and my son got it uprighted. Thankfully neither of us were hurt other than this old granny, The 4-wheeler has bent handle bars and it broke the bracket that holds the hand brake, needless to say we won't be trying that again!!!!!

Gd was wearing her brand new Hot Pink coat and it got dirty and she says, "My mom is gonna be Mad", I told mom would just be glad we were alright, kids
barnie.gif
anyway Gd is fine she cried a bit and then went to play with her puppy. She said it was fun, but, doesn't want to try it again,

Other then giving them a bath, makin em look cute, nope, sorry, don't have any clue bout showing birds. OH Wait!! teach em a trick! hehehe
I always vote for the one that does cool tricks. Guess that's why I wasnt very good when that show bout the dogs was on tv. Think it was called top dog...

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting on here. Just joined today. I couldn't sleep Saturday night so I figured I would Google crocheting and found this site. Just so happens I have 22 chickens too.
I have been making granny square blankets for a few years now and was interested in the swap but only know how to make the traditional square. Still consider myself a newbie to the art. It comes and goes with me. Right now I have 2 cousins that are both preg. and I am going to make little granny square blankets for them.
I need to get back in to this hobby and leave Ebay alone.

I never knew there was a place where people actually talked about crocheting all the time. Wish I had found this site years ago.
