I am sitting here trying to get up enough energy to hook and stuff. I will get there. But that vodka martini SE made for me hit the spot and I probably should be in bed. The lasagna was amazing too. Here's Queen Scoot with her martini

Anyway, I so want to get alpacas...and somehow get somewhere that has a market for fleece. I might be stuck with goats though. As in I can't get an alpaca but I could get a goat. I don't know if I can talk my landlord into fiber goats. It would be nice to have an ever present source for yarn.

Hey No Chicks just let me know if you are taking a trip our way. I would sure be proud to show you are Greenhouse and all my critters. Our home is just a humble old trailer house now, but there is plans in the works to build our straw bale house starting next year.

at least get the foundation done.. by this time next year.

Good morning, ladies! I'm up and going already this morning and thought I would pop in and say "hi". I've not gotten any more squares done, but I'm slowly getting my canning done. Today will be tomatoes. I will start those about 7 a.m. - just as soon as I get the kids on the bus. Gotta get those done ASAP. Maybe if I get some of my regular work done I'll have a chance to get a few more squares done, we'll see. After this round, I shouldn't have much more canning to do and can spend a little more time with my yarn. It's been feeling neglected lately. OK- gotta run. I need to get lunches packed. If we weren't all such poor working stiffs we could save our maoney and go on a crochet cruise together (yes, there are themed craft cruises!!) and have an absolute ball!! My whole family would pout though since they couldn't go but me and my hooker pals would have an awesome time!!! That would be soooooo much fun!!!!! I can't even imagine all the laughing we would do!!!!!

I invited Athena to join our hooker group, hope she takes me up on the offer, she is in Iraq right now so she has no chickens but what might be running around trying not to be dinner over there and I have no idea if she crochets ornot but we need to be her home link if you all don't mind...so Athena, if you check in here like I asked you to do..please stay, we'd love to have you!!

Bonnie, wonder if you could have an etsy store and sell the alpaca fiber and let others spinit themselves? Might make some money that way and that alpaca yarn is very expensive anyway. Cool hobby you have there!!

Heard from Maw, she is just busy like the rest of us and the aliens are finished with her probe so she will be back as soon as she can sit down again, loL!!

How am I to get anything done? Okay all how about this chunk of dark meat? Not usually my thang but he's got one nice bod and seems to always pick good roles on T.V. and movies. Love his character on Criminal Minds. He was good in "Diary of a Mad Black Woman", funny movie

I highly reccomend it, especially if you know of anyone going through marital toubles

as far as seasoning well, what about Jon Bon Jovi, he looks better now than in the 80's

Leepsy, Hear ya w/ ALL the pages! WOW!

You ladies have Certainly been busy! Noticed there was alot of chatter about various hunky Brits.. I must admit, I have a thing for their accents! SO glad I married one - Kilt and all! YUMMY!

The spiders look FAB! I made a bunch last year for Christmas presents: I made a doily attached to a ring (12") w/ the spider just off center, made a bow w/ Christmas ribbon and typed out the Legend of the Christmas Spider, placing them at the bottom! Came out nice! They were great fun to make! Must get the beaded angel ornaments done this year, however.. so no spiders for now!

Been busy w/ my youngest who has RSV and a staph infection. No going anywhere, so I've really been cranking out the squares! Hopefully will have all done next week! Was slankin' and then started w/ the Halloween crafts for this year w/ the kids! Hand bats, wreaths and menus abound! hahahaha! Would get things done faster if I could just concentrate on 1 project at a time, but I get itchin' to do all these wonderful things and ... well, ya know!

ok.. I'm off! Hope ya'll have fun and stay outta too much mischief! Will check in when I can!
