SECRET SANTA PROJECT!!! SIGN-UP OPEN!


Please do not feel obligated just because you belong to the crochet swap! NO OBLIGATION!!!

Rules:Sign - Up Closes: November 15th


Secret Santa Items: Must be a HANDMADE item of reasonable cost or investment. For example .... if I were to crochet a long scarf out of nice yarn and add a spider ornament to that, I would think that would be a nice gift...if I made a record bowl with the crocheted washcloths and the music cd and music soap like I plan to make for my co-workers, that would seem like a nice gift to me too...you all are talented and what you make does not need to cost much, just be thoughtful about it and it will mean the world to whoever gets it, I'm sure

Santa Assignment: On November 16th, every person on the list will be sent the name of their "secret" person. Please do not reveal which name you have!!! It is a "SECRET"!!! I will send you the name and address of your "secret" person and you will be required to make them something and have it shipped to them no later than December 15th. Only after or during shipping are you to reveal to the person that you are their Secret Santa!!


How to sign up: Send me a pm with your name and address and you will be added to the list. Only myself and the person you are assigned to will be given your name and address.

Feel free to save your present until Christmas or open it when you get it..either way, please take a picture and share the fun experience with the rest of us!!! The main objective here is to have fun with this project..simple, easy and fun!!!

This would be a great time to recruit new members to this thread!!

Alpacachick so good to hear from you, Glad you are getting to the end of working up the wool. Let us know how much you get in at the Coop sounds like you have quite a bit worked up now.

Thanks SE I will not be able to hold a candle to you and Queen Scoot on the graphics thing, still getting the hang of it.

I was able to make some Chicken Soup for those that need it.

Bonnie!!! You must have been posting when I was this morning, did not see your post until now!! Welcome back from the land of alpaca wool!!! Missed you!!!! Don't to forget to llok over the secret santa project post and see if you are interested..love to have you join if it fits your schedule.

Karan, your graphics are precious!!! Looks like our Queen will have to step it up a notch to keep up, lol!! Me, I have the same ole tired graphics I've had for months, too lazy to hunt for more, lol!! The possum one cracks me up though..I always wonder about the goofy person that though that up!! Like..where in the world does a person pull that one from?!!! lol!!!!!!!

Been to the discount meat store today, like a butcher shop, my freezer is full, gives me a nice feeling of contentment, lol!!! Got a bunch of london broils too so I can make my Christmas jerky from. Love to have my freezer and pantry full of food, kind of a nesting thing for me this time of year getting ready for winter.

Well, chicken chores and crafts today and some evening out plans so have a great day my friends...hope everyone sick gets to feeling better soon.

Found a sign in Tractor Supply, really need someone to make it an amimation, says, I'm so busy, I don't know if I've found a rope, or lost my horse!

Thinking imma adopt SE as my gramma-by-choice!
My mom's second ex husband used to make deer jerky every year. Never thought to learn how to make it, till after they divorced.

I am feeling better, thanks all for the well wishes. I think we need to worry about our queen the most... been busy...planted bulbs that I hope I didn't kill, got beat up by my hungry chickens...do they always act like they are starving? or am I just not feeding them enough?... bought a car...woo hoo! new car next week....

Uhmmm, Maw...I might be a little late in getting to the post office. I am not sure what day I will be getting the new car picked up, so we will finally have 2 cars, one of which I will have for *my* stuff and the other my DH will take to work...

here's hoping I am not too far past the deadline...

Must go figure out how to unbury some food out of the kitchen...Hope everyone has a good night!

Not much here, we have SUN today though!!!

Done babysitting for a couple days, maybe I can get that afghan of dads done this weekend!

We canoly pray that poor lady passed away, or that was one torked off hubby...get rid of her yarn

Secret Santa, good idea skand on finding out clors & such, just in case. I my self will like anything homemade (even that pizza that was mentioned)

. Colors I like are...hunter green, mauve shades, anything country looking or old.
