Got my swap bot spider packed up and my Secret Santa/Sister present boxed up too!!! Yeah!!!!! I will mail them both out on friday. I feel a sense of accomplishment about having them done and boxed up!!!! Whoo hoo!! Hope they are liked!!

Cleaned yesterday so crafting today...and Maw my DH is a pain today too...he is out looking for a something to put on the end of his shotgun to turkey shoot tonight and I gave him a list of 4 things to get and called him to ask if he would get a loaf of bread too, he made some snarky remark about having to shop for me now...I said fine, better get yourself something to eat before you get home since lunch will not be waiting for you....grrrr..men!!!! I could trade him so often for a nice laying hen!!!

Hello folks! Thank you all for the wonderful welcomes!!!! I feel luved already! Can anyone tell me what ( amigurumi swap ) this is? Never heard of it. I am almost done with school soon. I have finals in Dec! Then I get a break. I am thinking about doing the spring swap. I will let you know very soon. When should you have them all done by?

Ya, the whites tree frogs are not very active. Thats why they call them dumpy frogs, because they tend to get really fat from lack of..anything! LOL! Mine makes a lot of noise when you vacume. It is a male. He sounds like a turkey call.

Ours waited untill the girls would finally be asleep, and while Jim was typing on the puter, he'd go off. As always, scaring the crap outta us.

No, fortunately not Grizzly. "He's" going strong so far. I am afraid I am SOOOO attached already to "him"...if I lose "him", you will find me here in a little puddle of despair.

Maw, there was something I was supposed to say to you...OH YEAH! So sorry about your/Blaylee's bunny.

This is just a hard time of year for critters.
Apparently a hard couple of days... did I mention the squirrel I rescued/took mercy on yesterday? And another friend on BYC just got her chicks from McMurray and had 6 DOAs

(out of 34 ordered, I think)... Time to start sending good prayers and good karma and hope that everyone, person and critter stays happy and healthy. I am probably about to lose my other runty chick. You know how you can just tell when they are soooo frail and just not strong enough? That's my runty. The rest of them seem hale and hardy.

Time to get supper going. I will probably be hanging out here for awhile tonight at least until I pass out from the final crash of adrenaline.

We've gotten one with curled up toes, both feet. Future not lookin bright for it.

But we did have a good hatch this weekend. Up to about 80 some odd. Which is over a 90% hatch rate. Last weekend, we had 100% hatch, but one didn't make it. Which is good, we're weeding out the inbredness of our flock. Finally getting enough pens for our roos, and finally getting our girls big enough to lay. Up to 7-10 eggs per day.
Sloppy jos for dinner. Off to start bubble water.

And it is how I feel right now.

I am actually looking forward to an incubator and hatching my own from now on...I think it might actually end up being less stressful. Well, probably not at first, but in the long run.

And my yarn is just giving me the evil eye

right now for neglecting my projects. I think i am going to go work on some mind numbing hooking.
