Momma! I *love* that pattern! I would love to have it, but I am sort of with Skand, is it rated Beginner or Easy? Cuz that's the level I am at.

Skand, the kids have already run away to my house. I think they are hiding with the chickens right now.

SE, I must have skimmed over your puppy. Glad she sounds like she is doing ok... hope it wasn't anything serious. Sorry for the skimming. My spider is watching me as I type. I think she will give my interesting inspiration for my writing.

Did I tell you about the toilet paper roll adventure before we left for Thanksgiving??? It's rather amusing, but I don't want to repeat it if I already mentioned it.

We are getting a Blizzard today.

Good thing we have left overs to snack on, because I am holing up. Unfortunately we need to get another brooder box for my hyperactive chicks...might get to that real quick before the bad stuff hits.

I will make up some bling here to hold us over til our queen gets back...

Mamahen I sooooo want that pattern please!!!!!! I have tried several times to win it on ebay and keep getting out bid, so yes please send it to me snail mail as we love to get mail around here, somedays thats all we do is watch the mail box to see when she delivers and then all two houses full run for the mail box LOL!!!! we sare our address with his parents, and his brother too so we get lots of mail somedays and somedays none at all!!! so I try to keep catalogs coming as often as I can so we always have mail of some kind, and I keep trying to get me a overseas penpal but so far no luck. but since I have gotten in to the crochet club and such I get loads of mail and letters and boxes and I just LLLLLLLLOOOOOOOVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEE it. I love snail mail, and this thread my two top priorties (sp?) of the day, check the crochet thread, pms and email, and the snail mail box, and now walking the puppies. LOL> well gals I must run for a bit as I have to WALK the puppies so I will check back later. Maw.

Alpacachick glad ya had your Grandson to help ya wrap the barn, we have one too. Barn and 17 yr old Grandson. They can be good help, if they are around.

Hey since it snowed a tracking snow as it's called on the 29th, does that mean 29 more snows or 29 weeks of snowy weather? I don't recall how it goes.

Quick tech question...how do you quote someone in the middle of your post like Karan quoted me? Do you just move it down to the middle with returns?

Toilet Paper Roll = Bad idea for Chick Toy 101 - we have put some toys in the brooder to keep the chicks from pecking each other. they have some graffiti from Hannah since we had to cover the seams of the hardware cloth with paper, they have a mirror and silly me thought I could put a tp roll in there for them to peck at. Well, one of my little leghorns decided it was just a bit too curious as to what was on the other side of the tube. The little thing was stuck fast, just her little toes peeking out. PEEP PEEP PEEP! good thing she woke me up with that. I had to peel it off of her. I don't remember who posted it, but I am really grateful for the BYCer who posted her video of how to help a double yolker hatch twins. I was able to get the TP tube off with no damage. Little booger. I never would have dreamed one would go *in* the tube!

Off to go work on my SS project. Almost done...almost...

Good morning, everyone! I'm finally feeling more like myself!!!

Boy do I hate being sick! Today, I will be getting all of my transcription work done since I was not able to work on it Friday or Saturday. The kids and DH are going to be cleaning up their messes!!

Why is it when momma gets sick, the house is automatically destroyed?!

Since we're staying home from church to give everyone another day to recover, they can catch up on the cleaning they did NOT do for the last 2 days!

We have reached day # 15 with my broody! Hopefully by the first of next week, I will have some new baby chicks!!

I candled a couple yesterday. One I know was a dud, but left it with her, the other I could definitely see a little bit of an outline of a little body!! There are 12, but there was no way that she would let me candle them all! She was fit to be tied and trying to bite me everytime! LOL But I can't blame her. She's just being a good little mamma!

Ok - back to work for me! I'll try to check back in later!
