If you have an AC Moore in your area, there is usually a crochet expert who gives demos at the store on a regular basis. The store in Knoxville has a lady there on Tue & Thurs and also some weekends.

what I was trying to explain was the slip stitch thru to the next round, I dont think I did such a good job

Sorry to be the one to cause trouble.

I do hope I am not the only one with "yarn burns" on my fingers for trying to do this. I have tried crochet cabana and truthfully I am pretty sure crocheting is not in my genetic make-up. However, I am going to keep trying... :|

I am having a really hard time with this...now I can't even get past the steps I though I knew already.

Ah well. You all might not hear from me for awhile as I attempt to actually get something go show for my efforts... Happy crocheting! (hope I don't slow up the swap too much...
