Not really sure! I've been doing some messy sketches of photos of my chickens. I've been trying to improve on them, mostly on the features of the head. Your hawk drawing has inspired me to draw a hawk also, specifically a Sharp-Shinned Hawk, though I haven't started anything yet. I saw one a week or so ago attempting to catch birds at my bird feeder, but it failed to do so. Thankfully, they are too small to be of danger to my chickens.

Cool I haven't drawn a chicken in weeks, but I think it would be really cool for you to draw a hawk! There has been a gigantic hawk- big enough to do even me some serious damage if it attacked with do doubt- hangin out in my backyard for the past week. I've been careful to protect my chickens from him though, and nobody has been snatched away yet!

I love it! I especially like how you were able to show the fluff of the feathers on the top of the legs and how they contrast with the legs. The eye and the beak are really nice too.

I'd really like to see a finished drawing from you. You should try filling the entire sheet of paper. Draw a background and put that beautiful hawk somewhere, I think it'd be really nice. It would take a while, but it would be worth it.
