BYC forum performance today..... Excruciating slow here!

Seriously though, I've been working into the wee hours of the morning to figure out what's going on. Sometimes it looks like it is a huge spike in users on BYC, but I don't really see evidence of that.

I'll keep digging and hope to have a resolution soon.

Thanks for your hard work nifty-chicken! I've done a lot of researching and talking w/ people about chickens but I've never found as many answers and feedback as fast and easy as I have in the last 3 DAYS since I registered! This site has saved me hours and days of research. Thank you!

I might add that the friend who gave me my chickens suggested that I get on the chicken boards and I thought it was a silly idea until I tried it. I've wanted chickens most of my life and this site and the people on here have helped me out a lot in not much time.

Thanks for the note, but I'm really hoping that your ability to research and post will be back to the normal super zippy fast speeds pretty soon.

Yeah, really sorry it is so bad! I started to wonder if I should take down the forum and put up an "under construction" sign while we fix it, but then I firgured a super slow BYC is better than no BYC.

Just know that this is driving me crazy and I want it fixed sooner / faster than anybody!

What I can't understand is that sometimes it's almost as fast as it ever was and other times it's very slow. Seems like there's no rhyme or reason to it as far as time of day.
