Jerry how can I get this grape to give me more plants off of it? Would that be root cutting method?

Easiest method for the grape is layering . Just put a clump of dirt on a vine to hold it down on the ground . It will root . Cut it free next year and move it to a new spot .

Many things can affect flavor on blackberry . Lots of rain gives berries with less flavor . Dry conditions can increase flavor . Genetics also .

You are blessed with mild winters and can grow the newer releases .They perform poorly in zone 5 no matter what they claim . Lots of winter injury . The breeding work is done for commercial growers on the west coast and Ar .

I tried black satin years ago . The canes froze every year .
Thank you so much. I will layer a branch.

My satin has layered it's self like crazy. Every where it touched the soil it started a new plant. I appreciate your help with this blackberry.

I'm sorry you have trouble there with them freezing.

So I got a little impatient (I know, patience is a virtue) and anxious about my peanuts because they flower and then the flower just dies and nowhere does anything say that after the flower dies and shrivels to nothing a thick root like thing will emerge from below it and go in to the ground (Ok that may not be entirely true but all the articles and books I've read have left a lot of speculation on peanut pegging.) Anyway back to the point, I was "digging" around the plants and look, baby peanuts!!!!

I need some helpful advice please. My squash plants have powdery mildew and I don't want to lose them. I ordered some potassium bicarbonate but it will not be here till the end of next week.
Can someone please help me? Is there a home remedy I can use?

Last year I had powdery mildew and I killed it with baking soda, but you have to spray every morning and evening. This year I had one plant get it and I used neem oil. Here's what I used.
