BYC "Introduction / Journal" Section - Should it be added?

When I was getting married, I joined a wedding planning message board to get some ideas and advice. The message board had a journal feature, too.

Basically, this was just a normal forum section (I think it was called "Wedding Journals" or something) where you would start your own thread about your wedding planning and post pictures of all the planning details and write about what you were doing as you went along getting ready for the wedding. (As you can probably imagine, it was mostly a bride thing). Other people could comment in your thread about whatever you posted, but it was "your" thread.

I think it might be neat to have a journal section so that people could chronicle their lives and what they were doing with their chickens. It would be easier for some of us who know each other (at least on BYC as online friends) to keep track of one another, too.

Hi! I think it would be great for anyone who needs / wants to 'tell all about themselves' or their day.
It's not something I would be interested in writing about or reading, personally.
