Hey everyone! I love to knit and am expanding from the baby blankets and scarfs! I came in late to this thread, but I hope to catch up soon with y'all!

HerbandTeas, did you get the pattern for the dishcloth from a site? I am putting together baskets from the kitchen this year for my Aunts and wanted to add dish towels as a useful decoration to the chutney and breads. I'm sorry if I missed the post with the pattern. As I said, I came late here and I have a toddler dancing around me so it is hard to read 25 pages of posts in one sitting.

I'm glad I found fellow knitters though! It seems like it is a hobby that is making a comeback! Nice and relaxing after my son goes to bed.

Just checking in to say hi and see how you are feeling.

I wish I knew how to knit. Maybe once I get a handle on my crocheting I'll try to be patient long enough to sit and try.

I would love to crochet to add something extra to my knitting projects, but alas, I can't figure it out. I have been taught by a few different people and even read the books that show kids how to do it. I find knitting to be easy, but crocheting a mystery.

I can make a really long chain though.

Just can't go back in on it.

Maybe I'll get around to trying it someday. I know that and quilting I must accomplish before I leave this earth. LOL!!!!!

Gardengirl I bet you can crochet if you can do a simple chain stitch. Check out www.crochetcabana.com or youtube has some demonstration videos.

Scoot didn't you just learn how to crochet recently? Now you're a hookin machine making all kind of projects.
